You do not have to be a spiritually minded person to undertake shadow work, you will however have gained a higher perspective and be a conscious person (to have reached a point of realisation around the necessity of undertaking a self reflective healing practice). Many people reach this point through the process of awakening to their higher consciousness, but many also undertake self help work without ever feeling spiritual. Working with me is a process, and my packages are designed with consciousness as an underpinning ethos. There are many avenues of more traditional self reflective healing practices available for those who feel a spiritual approach is not for them.

We are living in the time of ‘The Great Awakening’, and your incarnation at this time is no accident, everyday more and more people awaken to themselves, their power and the deep knowing that we are not alone. First awakening is an exhilarating time, and through a genuine desire to reach a more ‘enlightened’ and connected place people can get lost in spiritual ego and spiritual bypassing. This is not a judgement based statement, it is part of the awakening process that we ALL go through, and occaisionally revist.

Many people are now realising that spiritual bypassing is yet another empty promise, avoidance tactic and a hindrance to healing; it cannot deliver absolution nor ascension. A substantial amount of people who are awakening to their higher consciousness seek ascension toward a higher vibration and connection with source (or spirit, God, the universe). A lot of focus is given toward activating the higher chakras (of the 12 primary chakras) in pursuit of connecting with the divine and other beings. We are seeking connection because our soul remembers home, a place were we are all connected with the divine and each other, because we are all one. The quest for collective consciousness, is also a driving force for many of us, the collective unified consciousness will happen when many factors align, our duty and role is in getting our own house in order. Pursuing activation of the higher chakras (in a genuine desire to connect with higher consciousness) when the lower chakras are not balanced and healthy leads to major disruption of the 3D bodies energy field, disease and imbalance become prevalent.

It is a complicated journey, our soul yearns for more, for connection, to remember, to fly free, but, our 3D body needs to be grounded, deeply rooted with Gaia and have its material needs met. It is beneficial to recognise that you cannot hope to grow tall enough to reach the light, if you do not first have a healthy groundwork to support deep roots.
